Choosing a new TV

Thread Starter
I am looking to replace my 5yr (my god is it that old, I still remember the smell of the styrofoam packing) old JVC 61" RP HDTV with a 3D flat panel of similar or lager size. I am certain that I want passive 3D as opposed to active for the usually cited reasons. My main concern is that the location in my house has a lot of natural light that comes in during the evening and I don't want to have too much glare. My second concern is that I game on the PS3 so it needs to have as little input lag as possible. My budget for this is in the $2500 range.

So what are the options for 60"+, passive 3d TV's and what do folks who have them think about them.

Thanks,

I literally just bought the 65lw6500 from Best Buy today. It is a LG 65" passive 3d television. I think the picture is tremendous on it. I know it is on sale for 2499 this week, although there may be a few slightly cheaper options. To the best of my knowledge it is the only passive 3d tv at that size, but I very well may be wrong. I played Kung Fu Panda 2 tonight in 3d, and I thought it was amazing, and looked much better then at the theater. That is my 2 cents.

Vizio sells one but it doesn't do 2D to 3D conversion. It's screen is also reflective.
