They are not the only ones who say this and I agree.
As for the "wrath of the irrational"; til the day she died I couldn't get my grandmother to believe that men walked on the moon, in spite of all the evidence. Sometimes people just won't accept objective reality. The nature of my work doesn't not allow me that luxury but I do have to deal with them occasionally and I am somewhat sympathetic. If I had paid a premium for something how would I feel if I found out that it wasn't much better than something much cheaper? That's why I do my homework in advance and rely on objective analysis whenever I can to point me in the right direction.
But frankly, if you are happy with your purchase...who cares? But why skew the facts? Is trying to convince people to buy what you bought some sort of vindication? I just don't get it.
