I also have 2 5000 series units that I would part with for $50 each. One has an 80GB HD and the other a 160GB. Both have lifetime subs. The remotes are the clunky 4000 series remotes as I modded my 5000 series remotes and now can't remember how they work. If anyone is a JP1 expert and can unmod them I'd send one with the unit. Buyer pays shipping.

IMHO, I would start a NEW THREAD:

Folks that SUBSCRIBED to the original thread probably cancelled their subscriptions once the units were marked SOLD.

I'm not sure if an 'Alert' is generated for a post to an existing thread. Whereas, I'm fairly sure that on some forums an 'Alert' can be generated for a NEW THREAD with certain words in the Subject / Body.

Just my opinion...
