I just purchased the samsung pn64D7000,and now I'm reading about all the problems with brightness pops. Is it happening to all of them? Has samsung adressed the problem?and if so does the solution work? I was so excited for this display and now I'm wondering if I should cancel the order.please someone give me some sound advice as I'm fairly still a newbie. thanks for the help.

I wouldn't freak out. If you purchased it from a reputable retailer you shouldn't have a problem returning it if you're not happy with it.

Just wait til the AR coating starts to peel! The brightness pops will go to the bottom of the list!

Come down off the ledge.

Remember, forums are a great place for people to ask for help about problems. Rarely do people join a forum to just talk about how awesome their purchase is. Just let the TV come, watch and enjoy.

If YOU see a problem then seek help. If you over analyze what the threads say then you might force yourself into seeing a problem that you wouldn't have noticed otherwise or you may never enjoy your set cause you're too freaked out about problems.

Every manufacturer has their issues. If you browse the forums you'll find people having problems with every set.

Sit back. Relax. Enjoy. The set you bought is awesome and held in high regards by many posters here as well as "the professionals".

They dont ackowledge brightness pops aka FBR and the peeling geez , not covered under warrenty. I am so happy panasonic makes plasmas..
Better blacks , Japan parts.

Oh and if the screen just happens to spontaneously crack then the AR peeling and the FBr really wont matter

Wtf are you talking about? From what I've seen Samsung has replaced tv's with AR peeling, and the "pops" have been resolved via a usb firmware update. Stop acting like an uninformed biased ret@rd.

The godfathers right as well as Robert. It is a great tv and any issues that may happen to come up like pops or peeling screens will be addressed by Samsung.
