ST30 buzzes, stops after 5 minutes? - Page 2

Interesting stuff.

i have the same problem on my st60. buzzing for like 5 minutes then goes away. but now its getting more persistent. i am still under warranty until august this year but it seems like an easy fix. if i do the fix myself does that void the warranty?

I would like to add my success of the screw tightening as well. TV hadnt made a buzz at all (well barely when you were really close to it you could hear it) but it had been quiet for well over a year. Turned it on today and the buzz was amazingly loud. Found this thread, spent over an hour taking the panel off and tightening every single screw that I could in the unit.

The source of my buzz had been the upper left side (as you are looking at it from front of TV) so I had been focusing here. I didnt really notice any of the screws tighten much. In fact only a couple did on the entire thing, but it fixed it and it sounds quieter overall now.
