I've been a long time lurker of these forums getting little tips and tricks on how to make my home theatre a better place. Anyways...
I want to build a budget (<$500) HTPC that can support 24p and flawless (no hiccups) playback of 1080p. Problem is I have no idea where to begin. I've been using my PS3 coupled with the PS3 Media Server and although useable, is not up to snuff when playing back larger 1080p movies.
I'll primarily be using the canadacomputers.com website. Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!
