Rear speakers - need to be wireless - what should i buy?

Hey there!

I have a Denon 2112ci with four ProMonitor 800's, a ProCenter 1000 and a ProSub 1000. The Two rear ProMonitor 800's have to be wireless because of the setup in my house (running wire will be darn near impossible).

So, what should I buy? The wireless rear speaker setup from Best Buy (Rocketfish), the one from Bose? You tell me!

Thanks!

There has to be someone who has dealt with this before!

There is. There are several threads about this very issue. Using the "Search" function should pop them right up for you.

I looked - can someone point me in the right direction?

Click on "Search" at the top of the page. Check the radio dot for "Show posts." Enter the term "wireless speakers" in the "Search Forums" box (the 2nd box, not the 1st).

So, no one has an opinion on the brand I should buy, Bose, RocketFish, Samsung?

My friend has the BB one that they setup and it seems to work fine.

There are adapters to where you can run any set of speakers wirelessly but they ain't cheap!

This one's not so bad but then you'll still need an amp as well for your rears:

Wireless is an expensive option, and sound quality with a wireless adapter is likely to be poor unless you spend a lot of money.

I suggest you consider running wire along a baseboard and under a carpet or threshold plate or plastic "wire-minder" strip at a doorway. There are solutions for this that can cover up and conceal wiring and keep things neat.

Look at Wiremold products. They have all kinds of solutions available for different situations
