Got your point and thanks for your comment.... I guess I will have both DUNE & Pio setup for TV Series and BDMV/ISO.
I have a big problem with Pioneer BDP450!
When i put CD, DVD or USB with AVI movie, i have subtitles on bulgarian (cyrillic)-from function down to "code page" i change to CP1251 and voila!
But when i play MKV movie by USB (external hard drive) with external subs-SRT with same name as the movie... again from function down to "code page" appears "OFF" and subtitles are in chinese!!!
Please help me!!!
Update for those interested. Regarding my noisy player I had the opportunity to compare with another bdp-450 in shop , and it seems that this noisy drive is a common thing and not a fault. Thankfully its only noisy for a short time( 5 to 10 mins) as the disc spins faster apparently at the beginning of play.If the volume is turned up enough, its easy to totally ignore the sound. Interstingly I also compared with the heavier built pioneer LX55 which played the same discs without any unwanted noise or vibration. In the 450's favour it was quicker at loading discs then the LX55. Bare mind I'm on FW2.05, so not sure whether there are any performance enhancements in the up to date FW 2.12? The in shop BDP-450 i compared it to, was actually slightly louder then my own which made me feel marginally better.Still I'm happy with the player overall quality wise, its still a great player.
