What do you think of these speakers for the price?

Those have such tiny drivers that they are not suitable for main speakers; only for satellite speakers in a multi-channel system.

I suggest that you look at the Boston Acoustics A25 or the Polk Monitor 30 speakers. Get something with at lest a 5-inch diameter main driver.

Thanks for your suggestions.

The Polk Monitor 30 and the Boston Acoustics are $115 and $149 respectively on Amazon, both over what I want to spend.

Actually the Polk are on sale for $90 shipped at the egg....

How much do you want to spend?

The Monitor 30 are $90 currently at Newegg and they go on sale for $80 a pair pretty occasionally.

The Primus P153 are $50 each right now at Newegg:

If $60 is your limit, I would check out the used market on Craigslist and eBay.

The person these were for now is deciding on this in-wall/in-ceiling speakers:

Sales Rep at the store offered her $120 - I think $30 less than online price.

What is the highest awg speaker wire you would get for this (higher means cheaper, right?) About 25'. Not an audiophile - so considering cost to some extent is important.
