Background: Recording cable TV (analog, no cable box) to PANASONIC DVD Recorder Model No. DMR-EH55 using PANASONIC DVD RAM
Playback via PANASONIC Model No. DVD-S52. TV: Toshiba, MDL: 32AF44, flat panel 32" ... I was able to get Closed Caption with audio.

PROBLEM: I installed VIZIO Class 3D LCD HDTV 1080p MDL: E3D320VX using HDMI cable. Now I can't get Closed Caption from the S52 DVD player.

Question: Does anyone know a way to get closed captioning to work with this new arrangement? Add a couple more wires?
