I rarely have issues with other patrons being loud or rowdy when I see a film in a theatre.
This is my #1 reasson for not going. I would not go see this movie anyway, but the main reason is people, especially the younger generation, but not always, do not know how to behave in a theater.
The constant talking is bad enough. But the need(and I would describe it as an epidemic/sickness) to have to text during the movie is sad, and really annoying. These people cannot be out of contact for 2 hours or more, and it is disturbing.
And it is not just teenagers. I have seen people with kids, who are just as bad. Probably worse because they should no better.
I am more than happy to avoid a theater, and just wait for Blu-Ray and wtch on my 100" plus screen with awesome surround sound.
But if I really want to see something(especially in the summer), I usually wait 2-3 weeks after it's release, and go see the movie in the afternoon on Wednsday during the workweek(leave early from work) since their are probably 10 people in the theater at the most. This lessens the chance of dealing with a**holes.
But you may still get one in there, and that is all it takes to ruin the experience IMHO.
