DirectTV DVR and Denon AVR-1612 >> No Signal

Now I am in diagnostic mode :-(
So this is the situation

1) Direct TV DVR connected to TV's HDMI 1 Port >> Everything works fine

2) Direct TV DVR Connected to Receiver's BD Input and Receiver's HDMI output connected to TV's HDMI1 Port >> No Signal

3) Same setup as 2 above, but unplugged the HDMI cable from Direct TV DVR and connected to my laptop and then WD Media player. Both work fine.

So same ports and same cable used in each case above. I just don't get a signal when Directv is the source and it is connected to Denon AVR 1612 Receiver. Though it didn't make sense, I tried diffferent HDMI cable too. No luck. Any idea what could be the reason?

Try connecting to each of the other HDMI inputs on the AVR. If still no joy then reset the microprocessor (p. 94).
