The new house my wife and I have been building is almost complete, so now I am turning my attention to the home theater room. The room is 16x18 with a 10' tray ceiling that is 9' around the outer 2'. The equipment is going to consist of:
Pioneer VSX-32 (Already own and will be using as a preamp)
Epson 5010
Carada 126" screen
HSU VTF-3 MK4
Focal Chorus 726 V L/R
Focal Chorus 700 V Center
Focal Chorus 700 V Surround
I am leaning toward the Emotiva XPA-5 amplifier right now. I was wondering if anyone would recommend any other amplifier's in the $900-$1500 price range. From what I have seen (I have yet to see one in person) the Emotiva is tough to beat for the price and it looks like it would do a good job powering the Focals.
