Hey E,
If you talk to that guy about the LMS, will you tell him I would be willing to buy that 4311 off of him like today if it is still available?? I dont have a logon at that site and for fear of another distraction, I refuse to get one I could paypal him the funds immediately if so

Same here. Sold my 3311 on CL last year and picked up the 4311. Let us know how you like it.

In my case, I felt like the way each channel interacted with the other was the biggest improvement. Everything just seemed sooo seamless.

do you level match after audyssey does it's thing or leave things as they are? I usually have to go in and pull it up from 72 to 75db's on the speakers, and then adjust the xover point from 60 to 80 on my mains as it stands now, I hate doing it as I feel like it screws up what audyssey just did. and there are arguments both ways out there...

I do check the levels but in my case XT32 has them right on. As for the xover points, I've tried all sorts of different points. I ended up settling on 80hz for the center/surrounds and 40hz for the mains. To me, this combination sounded the best.

Man that will be a relief, one less thing to do each time a make a small tweak I swear I wore my old denon mic out!! haha After speaking with Jeff at JTR, he mentioned that 60hz was as low as he would want the triple 12's going so ive always kept it at 80, but as inefficient as the XXX's are up top, once I get the new avr in, I may put it back down to 60 and start there...

Man, I wish I would have dug deeper on this forum before I bought my AVR back in January. I feel like I'm the only tool serious about LFE running a Pioneer. I wasn't too dissatisfied until I really learned what Audyssey (especially XT32) was all about.

Favorite feature about the SC-57 is the icontrolAV2 Android App. Of course I understand Denon has similar networking/control capabilities, so I really have nothing on the 4311.

Learning more and more every day though, so next purchase I make I will be MORE than armed with knowledge.

Edogg, I know you just inquired yesterday, but let us know if you work out a deal with Matt over at Audioholics. Like to see that fourth one up and ready...

between the denon app and my apple tv, I walk in the house each day, hit two buttons and have music playing immediately Denon did pretty awesome with their app, its a little buggy sometimes, but I can do pandora, zone switching and multi-volume control, source switching, etc all from my phone I love it!

Cool. Yeah, the Pio app sounds like it has the same functionality. It's definitely nice. I'd still LOVE to have the capability to try out XT32 and give my subs some sort of EQ. I hate to admit it, but I've never even experienced what a properly EQ'd sub (all factors taken into consideration) sounds like.

Oh man, I plan on sticking around on this forum for a LONG time so it's going to be funny looking back on this particular post and laughing to myself about how much I didn't know at the time...

Yeah the app is pretty cool. Like beast said, with a push of a button (or 2) you can have some music blasting in no time!!

Btw, 4th sub is ordered!!
you hang around here, and read as much as you can, it wont take you long friend. I cant believe how much I have learned just in the last year and a half, but it never ends. As soon as you have a grasp on a concept, it changes. That's the beauty of the hobby

You're way ahead of me bro! Im thinkin along the lines of giving the RE's a little more air space and redoing the two boxes that im still not really that happy with. First things first while my projector bulb is down is getting the front stage cleaned up, acoustic panels finally mounted on the front wall as opposed to just propped up, and possibly look into some bass traps in the corners if I can find enough room that is...

cant wait to hear your impressions of the four-banger

Tell me about it bro, it never ends. After these subs get all finished I have to look at a new center channel, followed by a new amp(s), then probably a PJ upgrade.

LOL!

Yes sir! After I get this next amp ordered the LS-C will be the next thing on the list.
Is that center for the LS-6 or something like that. I thought I read you have line arrays as your mains. Sorry for the dumb post ( im still a newbie ) but that looks like a sweet center!

Yeah thats the matching center for the LS6's. Danny R. from GR-Research finally developed the kit not too long ago. Speaking with other LS6 owners who already have this center channel, they seem to really really like it!
I thought it was that but was trying to not sound like a complete idiot lol

Love your LS6 set up Edogg.

Thinking about a line array setup when we have our home built in AZ. I'm going to have to check into the cost first, but I'd like something built into theater vs. having stand alone speaker boxes. Goal: LOUD

No worries bro, we all gotta start somewhere. I myself still read some of these posts that some of the more knowledgeable members post and it looks likes it's written in a foreign language to me. lol

Thanks bro! I love the LS6's. That's one part of my system that I really have no desire to upgrade.
