Arcam AVR 360

Does anyone have any idea on where I might be able to get a spec sheet or manual for the Arcam AVR 360? I have exhaustedly tried to hunt this model down and to no avail. I first checked the Arcam's website and apparently this model is not listed. It doesn't even appear to be listed under their support page. I know this model is on sale as I was able to get a brief demo of the unit at my local a/v shop the other day. I asked the store rep for a spec sheet and he stated that he was out. I have googled the unit, but unfortunately all I get are generic photos with marketing jargon.

Does anyone know why this unit isn't even listed on Arcam's on website? This seems quite unusual. It's a shame, because from what I heard, I really I am interested in considering this receiver, but I wanted to get a better readout of the unit and of course read the owners manual before deciding on whether to make a purchase.

A Google search brought up this data sheet:

I too am interested in this receiver. I saw one at Magnolia. I would be curious to hear from owners or anyone experienced with this receiver.

Thanks Randy. It looks like 75 watts with all channels driven would be enough for me. I still wonder what class amps the 360 is using. Since it appears to very similar to AVR 400, less watts per channel seems to be the major difference, I would assume that it uses Class G amplification like it's siblings. I guess I will try calling Arcam to see if they can confirm.

I wonder how many people on this board have demoed or purchased this receiver and whether it would even be useful to start a owners thread for discussion.

I have one and I love it. Matt at Arcam told me that it is basically identical to the 400 with a smaller transformer and less wattage (75 vs 90). He also said that the reason its not on there site is that at this time it is only available in the US and not the UK(Which is very odd). I think that if it was it would cut sales on the 400 because the differences are very minimal and most would go with the 360. Truly a great sounding piece with more power and headroom than the 140w receivers made in china. There power ratings are with all channels driven as opposed to 1 or 2 channels.

It's to get Americans to BUY Arcam. 400 is simply beyond the acceptable $$$ for Americans. 360 is a nice little unit for the money and would kill 400 sales over there, but probably less so over here.

I'm interested in the 400 but I heard a 360 hooked up to Intuitive Design Summits with the path stand system.

Stereo music AND surround.

Pretty impressive sound. Much more power than you would expect. If THAT'S the "little" AVR, I can only imagine....

I'm holding out a little for the 2 new AVR's from Cambridge Audio. 651r and 751r. Both are a big price jump for CA and I can't help but wonder if they out Arcam Arcam.

Either way, Arcam or CA, I can't wait to dump this Anthem MRX 700 I'm stuck with right now.
