Wake on Lan issue with Zotac Fusion 350 a e only work after certain serial numbers?

I am having issues with Wake on Lan (WOL) with my zotac mother board. It's serial number starts with M1116, and I read something saying that only boards with M1127 and after is capable of WOL.

I have contacted Zotac and haven't heard anything back. I already contacted newegg to get a replacement board, but they can't guarantee if it will be M1127 or later.

I have updated the BIOS to the latest version, but this doesn't seem to help even though it has a wake on PCIE option.

Anyone have ideas on how to change this or how to get around it?
