Thank you. I'm trying to get it, but don't use torrents, so kind of suck at it.

Downloaded the BD disc over two days and now seeding - slowly. I have not yet burned a disc. Also, I want to put it on a stand alone hard drive and connect it to my OPPO 93. Thanks for all of the hard work y'all put into this project. I'm excited to see the new project.

Finished downloading today and am also seeding... at least for a little while. smile.gif Have not burned the disc yet, still waiting for my 50GB blanks to arrive. Looking forward to the next demo disc.

I've read that several times. "Get the individual header/tracker for the torrent". I don't know where that is located. I've searched Torrent sites and I get nothing.

Still can't get it to play on my oppo. Any suggestions anyone?

Have you asked at the oppo thread on the bluray players side of the forum?

You can ask if anyone could walk you through on how to play a BDMV folder structure from a USB drive.

First dumb question to you. Do you have the latest firmware? rolleyes.gif
post #1184 of 1344
Yeah I have the latest firmware. It shows that the USB drive is in on the front display but I can't navigate anything on it
post #1185 of 1344
My understanding is that the Oppo 103/105 used to be able to play BDMV folders from usb drives, but licensing authorities forced Oppo to remove that feature from the latest firmware.

And I tried running this 38.6gb unzipped folder thru multiavchd and it wants to turn it into a 129gb folder? Something isn't right here haha

I've read somewhere that in order for the Oppo to run BDs through a USB hardrive or thumbdirve the folder where the BD resides needs to be called AVCHD. Not sure if this has been disabled with the new firmware, but its worth a try.

With regards to running the BD through MultiAVCHD in authoring mode - I believe the needed space is a software bug, it just requires the exact same space.

Is there any other way to get these files. Without Torrent. I use netload.

And I made a basic calibration Bluray Disc. And .mkv (Very small) To be used with the DISNEY WOW Disc and BLUE FILTER LENS to Calibrate
Your 3D TV or PROJECTOR.

So I thought I'd share.

Very interesting, work you've done here. Thumbs up!

SOLOFORCE 3D Blu-Ray Calibration Pattern Disc for 3D Blu-Ray Players
(will throw your projector into 3D AUTO mode) Image will look 2D except for OPENING title.
IT WILL SWITCH DEPTHS. BECOME GHOSTY cause of the BRIGHT LETTERS ON BLACK. (Normal)

If you know how to calibrate your TV/Projector, and have the BLUE FILTER Lens
(Like the one from the WOW disc) you will be able to Calibrate COLOUR, and TINT, more accurately.

This is the link for the .ISO. Burn this to a BLU-RAY Disc, with the proper .ISO burning program...and you are set.

SOLOFORCE 3D Calibration Pattern .MKV file for SBS Mode on your TV/PROJECTOR
Switch your TV/PROJECTOR into SIDE BY SIDE MODE when using this file.
Some Blu-Ray Players with USB accept .MKV Files. or Media Centers.
Note: The 3D settings for your projector are different when using SBS or AUTO.
The only way to calibrate in AUTO is with a 3D Blu-Ray Calibration Disc as above.
(That's what I've found anyway)

This is the link for the .MKV file for SIDE BY SIDE Calibration.

http://netload.in/dateiLmKS5nfC4d/SoloForce3DCALIBRATIONSBS1080.mkv.htm

SOLOFORCE 3D Calibration Pattern .M2TS file for SBS Mode on your TV/PROJECTOR
All the same information about the .MKV file but in .M2TS format.
.M2TS formats can play from a USB on your playstation 3. And again this is for SIDE BY SIDE Mode

This is the link for the .M2TS file for SIDE BY SIDE Calibration.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Can anyone confirm if the DVD version will play on an Oppo BDP-103? I made
a disk but will not play on a store demo Oppo even though it played fine on my denon bluray. Do I have to patch it for it to work or maybe the player needed firmware updates??

I am loving the music section, especially josh groban( what media is this from?) Chicago and Styx. Can't see how Justin is reference, but then again I only forced myself through it once.......
It would be great if you could list the discs the clips have been lifted from we're included though, especially for disc two:-)

All clips are taken from Bluray or HDDVD, all are 1080 either P or I.

The Josh Groban song is from his "Awake Live" disc.

The Reference 2 disc includes an information box with more information. You can follow the link below to the Reference 2: Blu-Ray Demo Disc.

http://www.avsforum.com/t/1469192/reference-2-blu-ray-demo-disc-bd9s-bd50

And GOOD JOB going through the whole disc! That gave you the complete perspective on what the disc encompasses.
So i have the full disc. I want to burn it to a bd50, however im a little worried bc i tried playing some of the files on my pc and id say roughly 50% of them work. Any suggestions?

What software did you use to play the clips?

That's why is suggested to have a bd-re, you can do a test burn on one these if not sure. I just saw a pack of 5 bd-re(s) for less thn $5 per disc on amazon.
