I understand that not everyone has a blu-ray burner (which cost under $90 at this point), but the whole point to this particular exercise is to allow those who don't have a BR burner to still enjoy demo material, else we'd all just use ScubaSteve's demo disc.

I did have one that stopped working, and was just waiting to get a bluray burner.

Gotcha.

I hope you have friends with computers... it only takes a few minutes to burn a DVD.

Almost. Yes, it is. No, I'm not.

I'd use TMT for everything except I'm having problems with subtitles in my mkv rips, so I'm using VLC for them. So I select MKV in the list on the left, point it to the VLC program in the box on the right, and I'm done. Everything else, including BD rips and stuff not converted for one reason or another to mkv play with TMT.
Works great.
And I recently discovered that many of the DVDs of TV shows that I have that don't have subtitles have closed captions, which play with TMT. Very cool.
The only thing I'd like to change is that I'd like whichever program to quit at the end of the movie or file and go back to media browser. Instead, I have to hit the "close" button on the remote, so no biggie.

Hmm...i never set up TMT that way. Is it a superior player to WMP?

Is there any reason(s) why you set up TMT to be your default player?

FYI - If your share ratio is less than 1.+ your an f'ing leech,, that is alll.

Help the effort, seed.

Because I paid for it?
I needed it to play BDs, so I had to set it up and learn how to use it anyway. I like it very much, and it seems to be able to deal with everything except the subtitles on my mkvs, which I'm in the middle of discussing with ArcSoft as we speak.
If you can play what you have with what you have, there's no reason for anything else.

TMT has all the codecs needed to play everything unlike WMP. You can install different codecs packs but I don't see the reason for it when you can install TMT and have no problems playing any type content.

Yes you have to pay for TMT but is well worth it.

Thanks, I'll give TMT a try as my default player. I hate codecs.

Sorry for the off-topic.

I would assume this is correct...

Bass disc 14 Seed
Animation disc 15 Seeds
Music disc 14 Seeds

If correct that means some of you have really, REALLY fast bandwidth!!!

Happy to see that the Bieber is not scarring people away.

Only 12 min after your post:
Music disc = 8 seeds, so some folks are hit and runs. Tsk, tsk.....

Edit: This morning, 20 seeds and 29 leechers. That's more like it

With my slow net I'm still seeding... many of your titles are almost exactly cuts I've made for my personal demo discs except my Eagles cut is Hotel California and I'm playing with 3D
post #170 of 1344
Does it sound better in 3D?

Seeding was a bit heavy last night, now everyone must be off enjoying their Saturday or something because I'm only seeing minimal traffic every 5 seconds or so. I will keep it going until late next week at least (still seeding the other two as well). I am going out of town for work, so I won't miss the bandwidth.

My vote is for the 50gb complete demo because that will take the longest to download and seed.

Sorry for the off-topic.

Jump into the HTPC forum and search for TMT 5. LOTS of good info there.

Heck, here you go, I was heading there next anyway:

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1285815

It is 104 pages long, so I would skip to the last few, then ask any questions you may have.
