Ah I knew I missed something thanks.
Ok, got the winRAR from 1st post, right click but don't see extract/unpacked option.

These are the options when right click:

Add to Archive...
Add to "RAR_Bass_Disc.rar"
Compress and email...
Compress to "RAR_Bass_Disc.rar" and email

I use 7-zip for my compressing/uncompressing needs. They have both a 32 bit and 64 bit version. Go to http://7-zip.org/

But having hard time understand MultiAVCHD, all greek to me.

You shouldn't need MultiAVCHD unless you're trying to get these files onto a smaller disc, which would defeat the purpose.
Here's what it's usually used for:

Instead of right click, I just click winRAR program and it show a listing of downloads (Bass and Surround is among them). Do I highlight Bass and click "Extract To"?

Thanks for responding. Transfer cap was not enabled. I checked back a hour after having posted the initial question and the ul rates were much higher, sometimes at 40-50kB/s. I'll continue seeding whenever possible...

The entire folder (unRar'd) will fit fine on that. You may need to substitute the PS3 files for it to play (I don't recall what you're using for playback). It should look just like a BD (only smaller ).
If you need/want to convert it to an ISO for some reason, TsMuxeR will do that.

You're referring to this?:

For those that are interested in watching on the PS3 without burning to optical disk, here are a few notes:
Drag the BDMV folder into MultiAVCHD
Answer yes when it prompts to enter re-author mode
Adjust any settings you want
Start
Chose the PS3 option
Move the BDRA folder it makes onto your root of the storage device (this device must be FAT32)
Rename the BDRA folder to AVCHD
Plug into the PS3 and select the USB device using “X”
Choose AVCHD using “X”
Away it goes with menus and everything

Where are you getting stuck? There's a whole tutorial here, but I doubt you need it:

I DL'd the torrent client and started all of the disc, with torrent is it faster if I pause some and only do 1 or 2 at a time? Also I don't understand what "seeding" is. The seed #'s for the DL's are between .4 and 1.7 does this mean anything. Thanks
post #431 of 1233
Doing one at a time will get one completed (potentially) sooner, but with different people seeding (sharing) different discs, I would just keep them all running.

Basically, you go from a "leach" status (meaning that you are downloading) to a full "seeding" status when you finish a full disc download and continue to share it with others.

You are, however, still helping to seed the bits and pieces that you already downloaded.

Example, you have 300 MB downloaded in random fragments of the whole set of files for one disc. While you continue to download more and more of it, you are also sharing out that 300 MB that you already have.

While, I don't know how many people might be still getting files from the torrents, it is just a good thing to do (keep sharing/seeding) for a while afterwards.

Good luck!

Thanks a bunch for these, I'll seed them for a long time.

Rates are really at a snails pace, if anybody can seed for awhile today it would be much appreciated. FYI I'm working on all 5
Thanks

I'm seeding all the discs (including the BD50 even though not public yet), and there are 11 seeders for the music and 7 for the bass disc.

Hi brac1, I'm seeding Bass and Surround still since last Friday.
Not very familiar with torrents, but I found the"tracker" and see there are seeds, but the music one shows no speed and an infinity symbol for the ETA. Last nite the DL totals were around 300kb, this AM total are 7kb.
I guess I just need to do some research so I understand torrents better.
Thanks for the help, and for the files

Don't know what changed, but totals are now 280kb

Sorry, my wife had rebooted the computer at some point over the weekend, and I hadn't been to it all weekend so I didn't notice. Seeding all 5 discs again, as of a couple minutes ago.

@Kalani,
If you're using utorrent, just set in the prefrences to start when windows starts.
wow, a few people got back to seeding "music" it's doing up to 220kb. looks like surround will be done in 4-5 hours. I would think that will speed up the others. Thanks for the help.

I would, but auto-starting torrenting software gives me the heebie-jeebies. I only leave it running for special projects like this, and of course until an acceptable ratio is reached when I download other torrents. (which is rare, actually... I try to avoid them unless there is truly no reasonable alternative available)

Maybe you should try a newsgroup.

Surround complete and seeding at 20kb
bass and music 90% (music currently at 220kb)
animation at 80%
corrected is now the laggard at 67% (i'm guessing as others finish it will speed up)
4 out of 5 done in 48 hours, visual corrected, is at 70.9% and at a stand still.
I had to delete my copy and stop seeding it due to running out of room on my hard drive. Sorry!
Not sure why anything is at a standstill. I'm still seeding, 14 people are pulling on the visual corrected disc. The surround disc is the only thing that's not all that active at the moment, the other 4 are streaming out pretty steadily.

I hope that is just because you are making room for the BD50!

Same here, I'm seeding to 4 of 4 peers... -TD
post #449 of 1233
I'm sure I could work this out on my own, but I'm guessing someone else already has. I have unpacked the 4 that are done, and I can access the clips (great choices btw). I'm not interested in burning them as my pc is part of my HT, is there a simple way to get menus and such working from the HD?
I use PowerDVD (I am sure that you can use other programs as long as thy support file mode) and I just drag the whole BDMV folder onto the PowerDVD window and it loads with menus perfectly.
