/// Reference Blu-Ray Demo Disc - BD9 (DVD-DL Media + BD50) \\\ - Page 31

The whole point to the individual sections was so that you could burn each one on a DVD-DL. Unfortunately, if you only downloaded the full version, you can't break it up (easily, anyway).

Hopefully, the 50GB disc(s) you got are of the RE variety, just in case.

I get it, but I don't want a bunch of discs. I just want one demo disc. I can stand waiting a couple days.

You wouldn't by chance be able to publish the start/stop times for the tracks would you? Most of the Surround/Bass/Animation titles I either have or can pick up very cheap. So rather then download them all, I wouldn't mind putting the disc together myself.

I never thought there would be a use for them once I had the clips... No I didn't keep the stamp times, usually I just wrote down the times on a piece of paper and once I had the clip... who knows what happened to that paper.

i just began downloading this disc and Scuba steve's disc also. For years, I've always wished I could have a disc or file (for play through Oppo) that just gave me the A/V bliss without the full story of a movie....kind of like taking a Bugatti or Aston Martin to the track...there's no destination, but you just want to flex the pricey car's muscle. These discs are giving me exactlyyyyyy what I've been wishing for.

This is my first torrent download, and i tried 3 programs before learning about uTorrent. If anybody is reading this and is a first-timer, just get uTorrent....it works.

If I convert this to a ISO, what are the chances it will work? I have a player that is ISO compatible.
Why convert it, is it not working/playing now??

What player are you using ?
Oppo 93
ISO compatible firmware

Then there shouldn't be a problem.

With the Oppo, if you have a usb hard drive or flash drive, you could just skip the burning process. Once you "un-rar" the files (in extraction client like 7-zip, highlight all->right click->extract here), the file itself can be played directly by your Oppo using a usb storage device. I play the file (file name after extraction: "BD50") directly from a usb flash drive through my Oppo BDP-103.

Do you mean the Tracker links? Is there the reference links?

The links are to download the Torrent trackers. Once you have the torrent tracker you open it with your torrent client (uTorrent) to start the download of the actual file (disc). The file is a compressed filed (RAR) that needs to be uncompressed. Once uncompressed you should have the BDMV folder/file structure of a BluRay. This BDMV folder is the one you burn to a disc or use to play it through an HTPC.

I would really like to get a copy of this demo disc but am not very good with computers.
I was wondering if anyone would be willing to "trade something" for services rendered for a copy ?
Please pm me if it might be of interest ...
Thanks.

There were some changes to the actual links recently.

Most of the links for the individual discs now include all the discs... Inside the ZIP file you will find six links:

Bass disc
Animation disc
Music disc
Surround disc
Visual disc
Full BD50 disc

If you chose to download each individual disc, once you downloaded all 5, these can be used to create the full Bluray disc. In order to create a full disc from the individual segments yo need and additional file "DIY form disc" .

All the information needed can be found with in the first page (including the password)

My apologies for the Icloud thing... it wasn't behaving like this before. It would go directly to "save" the file. Now is asking to register.

I've changed the link to something different... It should take you to the download page. Do not click anything other than "Download", unless you what a bunch of ads and such.

The more peers that keep seeding, the faster it downloads for others.

So when I download the 36GB full Bluray i have all?

BTW where can i found the Scene Transformers Scorponok
post #927 of 1344

^^^^

The 36GB file in deed has all the segments, and needs to be burned onto a 50GB DL bluray. The Transformers scorpion clip is part of the visual segment.

CORRECTION:

The Transformers Scorpion clip is part of the surround segment.

Nice Room... So how was it?

I took the disc to our local hi-end store (Bjorn's) some time back. We played the disc in several different showrooms... all the rooms they have are amazing. They have this specific room with ALL Mcintosh equipments...eek.gifbiggrin.gif:). The guy asked right away: "Where did you get the disc?" rolleyes.gif Needless to say, he kept my disc.

Anybody want to send me a copy? I would GREATLY appreciate it!

EDIT- Really, really would be great. Thanks.

EDIT 2- I use a PS3 as my BD player. Would the disc work?
