That content resides on an external drive that she connects to a laptop. It really wouldn't take up much space as it's all DVD rips, not BD stuff. I would hate to loose it so I probably will migrate it to the unraid once all of my movies are transfered over.
It's looking like Dune will remain my go to player in the theater room so I suppose Zappiti is still the best option for a jukebox there? I started having issues with Zappiti around the same time my WHS crapped out. Is there something more universal to other players like PCH that might be a better option? Something that won't require me to create folders for every movie file.
I use a Dune D1 in my living room as the main streamer. In the master bedroom I use a PCH-A210. I've each movie in a folder movie name (year) / movie file (year).m2ts or mkv. So, it looks Avatar (2011) / Avatar (2011).M2TS. All my movies are named like that. TV shows...this is one where the naming is different from Dune and PCH unless you rip every show individually.
I rip all my TV Show as ISO's since it is easier. I name them as TV Show name SXXEXX SXXEXX and so on. For example: True Blood / Season 1 / True Blood S01E01 S01E02.ISO. YAMJ will only recognize the first episode, and will scrape the True Blood information for only the first episode. However, YAMJ will recognized the following True Blood / Season1 / True Blood S1E01E02.iso
Now, if you were to rip every season, and each episode individually such as True Blood / Season1 / True Blood S01E01.mkv , True Blood S01E02.mkv then Zappiti and YAMJ will recognize this and scrape the information accordingly. I was going to try to rip them individually, but I got lazy, and I do not really want to do it because if you use MakeMKV to rip the tv shows to single files, they are not ripped in order. So, you will have to find out which file goes first.
