I have a television KDL-40Bx400 and I would like to update the firmware to be able to activate the modules of the wireless for usb.
For it, I searched and found my model in this web:

Once done this, I have the files that they put there and I want compile the kernel.
I have practice in compiling kernels based in intel. But in this kernel of different platform I have no idea.
I believe that the platform that it uses is mips.
Might you say to me how to compile this?
