My favorite so far is Kung Fu Panda 2. But based on the reviews, it sounds like Harold and Kumar Christmas might be great too. Can't wait to check it out tomorrow.

I hate saying it, but Avatar looks amazing on my 3d set. There are multiple times during the movie that i thought something(bugs usually) was in my house.

As far as readily available, Resident Evil:Afterlife seems to get good reviews, all of the animated stuff seems to be reviewed well also. Ill be getting Harold & Kumar tomorrow, its supposed to be great.

Final Destination 5.

I think the Imax docs like Ultimate Wave, Grand Canyon, and Under the Sea are all amazing demo material.

I watched Under the Sea with my four year old this weekend. I had my feet up on the coffee table, and she said, "Dad!!! Your feet are going to get wet!!!!"

Hubble 3d and Under the Sea are both very good. Sammy's Adventures is likely the best - but not a region A release (yet). Owls of Ga'Hoole has excellent 3D animation. I understand the not yet released A very Harold and Kumar Christmas has excellent 3D for a live action flick.

If I were just demonstrating, I'd probably pop in Hubble 3D because the content can be viewed by anyone and it's fairly short at 40 minutes and the 3D is excellent.

I asked the same question a wile back. For a quick demo with some very good effects, I like ultimate wave. I had a friend over and showed him the under water fish scene. He was very impressed.

I still think Step Up 3D's dance off scenes have some of the best 3D reference material to date.

Avatar, it's not even close.

Just watched this last night and have to agree. If you are willing to shell out the cash, Avatar is the gold standard.

Sammy's Adventure: The secret passage. Absolutely stunning. Import from hong kong. Start your demo with chapter 3

Based on reviews here and elsewhere , I bought StepUp 3D and was not that impressed at all. Sure while it shows depth, I didnt see anything noteworthy , with POP OUTS and real out odf this world 3D effects to showcase 3D.

I think the best way to show case your 3D would be to pick different parts of different movies

PotatoCod in UnderSea , Nothing beats this!
Nachos flying in Yogi!
Planets floating in Ultimate Waves
Snake in Final Destination
Avatar has too many to list

you get the idea

I caught the animated Tangled on Starz and actually thought it did a good job in 3D.
And sat down with Transformersark of the Moon and overall it's really good. It does have some standout moments.

I have to place a vote for king fu panda 2, excellent use of 3D. So much added depth to the gorgeous animation with no loss in quality vs 2D.

I am eagerly awaiting march to come though... have Hugo on pre order.

James Cameron and some of the senior execs at Panasonic and Fox might. The rest of us are still being kept in the dark.

I don't have that many 3D BR's, but Lion King (especially the intro) is quite impressive.
