I am running an HTPC with Win 7 WMC OTA. I have been doing this for over a year with no problems. Recently I noticed that I cannot switch to ABC live TV. i get the "this channel may be temporarily off the air..." etc error msg from WMC. However, I realized that my shows from ABC were still being recorded and I was able to watch them. Initially I thought that the channel came back in time to be recorded.
However, tonight after a lot of fiddeling, I accidentally realized that I could watch the live ABC broadcast if I started recording. Even when I stopped recording, I was able to continue watching it. However, when I switched to a different channel and switch back, I will get the error msg and will have to start recording in order to watch. I am at my wits end. This affects ONLY the ABC channel (7.1).
