So the Factory Menu code for the E32 works "Menu" followed by 2489...there is a Video setting for SSP that is in percentage, it's set at 2.0%. Anyone know what this setting is? I'm not seeing any other settings that could impact the smearing...

I did but couldn't tell what they were doing. I was hoping one of the tech experts on here knew what Burning Mode or SSP was. I've been playing more games on the 65" vs the 47"...the black levels are way better smearing seems a bit better..not sure if I'm just adjusting to it or the set is breaking in...here is a video of what I'm seeing now:

Well I'm nervous to mess with it. I have been so frustrated playing call of duty. There's a split second lag or delay with this TV. How has the game play been for gears of 3? Are you still averaging the same amount of kills?

Not really having lag issues in any games just the visual smearing. I've played Gears and CoD and as long as game mode is on and all picture enhancers are off it seems fine. Even the smearing I'm adjusting to, I don't like it and I still see it but I'm trying to focus on the good parts of the image and not let the smearing make me crazy.

Lol I hear you, the only reason I haven't taken this TV back is because the 2d/3d picture is a amazing!

Has anyone connected an HTPC and play any 3D content from PowerDVD on this set?

I am very interested on getting this unit, my local Walmart has it in stock...

I have! Its pretty good I have nvidia gtx 550 graphic card with 3d play TV software in stalled my PC.

any other known issues with this tv? I currently have a 50 inch xvt vizio plasma that has been good but im ready to buy bigger and was thinking of getting a sammy but i could save 1000k by getting this vizio... how are movies on this do they look life like? any input would be awesome thanks alot !

The picture is great and somewhat have a life like look. The reason I say somewhat is because its hard for me to tell due to watching 240 an 120 Hz for years. Though when I have family and friends come over they say the picture is lifelike especially in bluray.

Im seriously thinking of getting this T.V, but was hoping I could hear from others that own the T.V set. I read that 2D and 3D picture quailty was awesome...Do you guys still think so after having the set for a while? ALso, I play xbox360 ALLOT and was wondering how you guys graded this T.V for game playing?

I have not seen this model on display anywhere. Usually BJ's has them but not this model, they seem to be pushing the Sharp TV's now.
Does this TV have a matte screen or is it glossy like a mirror (like the previous model)? I have been looking for a 65" or above TV that has a matte screen and is passive 3D but haven't found one yet.

Can an owner perform a function check for me? While watching any source over HDMI press the INFO or GUIDE button on remote and see if anything displays on the screen. Nothing happens for me, I was just wanting to see if the display was showing 1080i/p 720 or 24Hz info. If I press MENU followed by EXIT then it shows some info. If I am watching OTA tv and then press INFO 3 times it shows all the info.
Still playing with options while playing XBOX360 to improve my game play. This tv is replacing a Samsung LED/DLP and I had no issue while playing multiplayer Battlefield 3. With this tv my gaming groove has not been so great. With game mode ON, I turned off the smooth motion effect and that was definetly an improvement. Any other gamers have any settings to pass along would be appreciated.
I had plugged an ethernet cable in to check for any firmware updates but I found out that can not be done. My bluray player and Onkyo reciever have functions to check if there is a firmware update available. I can even go to there support websites and read about what the firmware updates are changing. Since I don't care about APPS at this time and plan on hooking a HTPC, I disconnected the ethernet cable. My firmware is 2.17.0.1100
Other than that I am very happy with the picture, size, and price (the price dropped recently at S Club).

I have the same issue! I basically can't play mw3 anymore because of the lag. I did find a solution using VGA cable.

After a LONG while, after reading MANY reviews and playing with this tv among others I broke down and brought this tv. Its worth the price 1,698.00 at Walmart.
Game playing is great..I do noticed some blur that everyone talks about, but after playing with the settings all the games I've played where flawless.
3D, I HATE 3D tv's..I never seen any that have impressed me, that is till now. I didnt buy this T.V for the 3D, but the passive 3D works, its like being at the theaters.
I was greatly impressed! As was all my friends...All I heard was..."WOW", "AHHH" and "Whooo"
2D picture looks stunning. This T.V in my opinion is right up there with the Samsung. The Samsung wins by a small margin in my opinion, but this T.V is thousands of dollars cheaper.
Even if Sony or Samsung lowered there T'Vs to match the price of this Vizio....I dont think I would trade my Vizio, because in the end, its just the name that you are paying all that nonsence money for.

If you are thinking about a big Tv then seriously consider this one. 3D will blow you away, 2D picture is stunning, blue rays will leave you speechless, game playing on this thing is wonderful and I'm a big game player and I'm a very picky person. I honestly dont think you will be disappointed with this T.V..............I know I'm not. smile.gif

I don't know if this was available before but I updated the system software and now I can pair my phone/tablet to the YouTube app on the tv and queue videos from the go and control the app from your phone/tablet it's really cool! I'm still really happy with this tv.
