Oh yes. The box wasn't damaged, but it had been sufficiently banged around enough so that a small piece of plastic had broken off the tv; from where exactly, I couldn't tell. The screen is unprotected except for a clear plastic one sided tape, and a very thin foam wrap, only slightly thicker than paper.
The screen had vertical lines. I would not be surprised if the tv had been placed or had fallen screen first, and then been stepped on, leaving the vertical lines on the screen.
I've seen shippers not only dump, but throw my packages on the ground several feet. Heavy, fragile packages.
These shippers have no regard whatsoever.

Did it end up damaged? They just delivered mine to me here at work, and it looks fine. I won't be able to completely unbox it and test it until I get hiome with it this evening though. On the upside, it's got the AUSY product code, so at least it's an IPS panel.
