When 3D is set to automatic on the TV does 3D movies played in 3D on your player play properly in 3D when connected directly to the TV?
What is the source of the 3D SBS (frame sequential) movies you asre trying to play via the laptop?

hi

i have read it and tried to take it in, are you saying i have the wrong type file or tv?

I am saying that the movies you are down loading are in Frame Sequential 3D format and not in HDMII 1.4a packed frame format which is what is sent to the TV from a 3D player.
You need to set the TV to receive 3D SBS format, Frame Sequential, or page Flipping format all of which means the same thing.

hi

thank you for that, can software used create page flipping or sequential from a SBS movie? or is it only TV based setting?

i have gone through the tv's menu and cant say i seen a setting for page flipping or sequential play modes.

also another thing, could i USB stick the film and place into the bluray 3D player to make it play?

SBS is another name for frame sequential or page flipping.
What choices do you have on the TV for 3D formats?

Signal format

original

side by side

top and bottom

2D to 3D

Auto

Picture sequence

normal

reverse

picture display

2D

3D

would there be setting in the 3d bluray player to help play film?? albeit i would have to usb stick it in... if that will work?

Picture Display should be 3D
Signal format may be "Original" and I am quite sure it is not Auto.
It is not sbs or tnb which are HDMI 1.4a formats
Almost all/if not all 3D BR formats are from film or animation. They should use the Auto Format for a 3D Display.
You may want to start a new thread asking for 3D help with "make/model" number in the UK.
