I got these delivered earlier this week and was going to buy some BBs and sand or kitty litter to put in them, until I looked at the tubes and saw how there is absolutely no room at either end to put anything in them. The holes are tiny! The product page on the Sanus site said they could be filled with shot or sand.
My question is this: How has anyone pulled this off, short of cutting the welds on the end plate and welding it back on? I don't even know if they make BBs or lead shot small enough and it would take forever to fill these with sand. I also wanted to line them somehow for easier removal.
