Zune HD dock and TV out out issues

I havent used my zune in months but today I tried to use it. Denon told me that a firmware was available so I tried to update it but the reciever hanged on authentication.

For some reason, either the dock is passing signal to the reciever or my 32gb Zune HD doesnt like TV out. I reset the TV out to HDMI auto and I powered off my zune then I restarted it. Nothing works.

What could be the issue?

Well the problem isnt the Zune or the dock. I pulled the HMDI cable from the receiver and plugged it into my TV. It works fine.

Must be an issue with the reciever. Denon 3312CI. Ports not active? (Game 2 is the connection for my zune).
