Direct to DVD/VOD, if I read correctly.

I heard that this is actually a biopic chronicling one month of Mel Gibson's real life.

Seriously, it looks like a decent flick worth one and a half hours of my time.

On The Money

If there's a V.O. ala Payback, it could be an entertaining metaphor.

Looks interesting...will rent.

Will rent asap!
I like it. Will definitely watch it.

Looks really cool! Strange that it doesn't get released in theaters in USA, while it does in other countries. Or is it that the Mel Gibson name isn't trustworthy anymore in North America? ...or it's another test from distributors, like they did recently with a few movies getting released simulatenously on VOD and in theaters.

Gibson's drunken comments stirred up a hornet's nest he probably never will be able to defuse.

First rule in Hollywood- don't piss off the tribe.

Eff those who have a problem with him, this looks like classic Mel to me and this the kind of movie he needs to make more often.

True that.

Love Mel. I'll have to give this a rent.
A definite rental. I had not heard of this and appreciate the post. I'm quite the Mel fan...at least his film career.
This looks great! The return of classic Mel, too bad it's not getting a wider release but I'll be seeing it for sure.

Looks good to me!

+100...Except for The Beaver,..everything Mel touches turns to gold. He's got the midas touch whether acting or directing...I prefer directing actually. Guys like Mel, Cruise, Willis, Crowe, Denzel, are last of the Mohicans so enjoy them all you can now before they hit washed up retirement age like Pacino and De Niro.

As we have learned that Gibson was playing himself in his Det. Riggs role - half crazy - many of us relish him all the more. I'll definitely bite on this new one.

Anyone see this yet? I think it was out May 1.

Strange, I found the same "no results" on Vudu, IFC, and Comcast

The Bottom Line

A grungy, likably disreputable action drama from Mel Gibson that's bypassing theaters in the U.S.

That's maybe because it's offered on Directv on demand right now for $9.99. Who knows when it will hit BD/dvd's.

A couple of decent reviews make this a rental...I'm not sure it makes it a $9.99 rental, however.

We were looking at amazon VOD

FYI, DirecTV is now advertising this as a Pay-per-View.

Watched this last night and found it pretty enjoyable although it felt a bit too familiar because it is basically Payback set in Mexico. Still enjoyable and was good to see Mel back a this type of roll but would have been nice to get something he hadn't already done. I streamed this on Vudu and found the PQ to be a bit soft but the DD+ track was very dynamic and enjoyable.

I was just wondering where I could find this film to watch. Vudu it will be. Thanks GK;)
Looks like it was shot on video.

I had some family over tonight and we played this blu-ray. We all really enjoyed it. I'd say it definitely worth the rental.

REALLY liked this one...tons of fun.
Good popcorn flick.

MG is in his "Goof" mode and it works perfectly.
Very funny, lots of drama, an original story.
