2012 GRAMMYs on CBS HD! - Page 3

I like taylor swift but she should learn from Adele as that is how you graciously accept a standing ovation! Swift sometimes look to be faking it as there have been reactions in past award show where Swift seemed upset that there was no standing ovation!

Whooo Adele was amazing.

CBS bug too big, too bright, and too high in the 4:3 safe area. I find it annoying in the darker scenes.

Completely blew me away. That's the first time I've heard "Rolling in the Deep" all the way through. Great songwriting sung by an amazing, full voice in front of a great beat. And a great ovation when she finished the song too.

Amy Winehouse... just a distant memory now wouldn't you say?

Is it just me or was there way to much reverb on Jennifer Hudson?

No, I agree. And she has a good voice but this rendition makes you realize how great WH voice was.

I just don't understand this Chris Brown popularity.

Best Acceptance Speech goes to... Bon Iver!

And here we go again where's the bottom end when the FF are on?

This dance section is supposed to make the Grammys "hip", I guess.

Were the Grammys on CBS last year? Can't remember.

not into it. Don't know how they got the FF in that mix. And what's with the techno Mickey? Looks like the mouse got taken over by a Japanese anime gang.

Whitney was a once in a generation talent.

But that tribute wasn't bad.

Since 1973, and continuing for at least the next nine years.

Thanks!

Nicki Minaj horrible.

WTF is this nonsense???????

She needs to take a Roman Holiday ASAP.

What am I looking at here?

Back to the local news...

this is over the line here this Nicki act. But I guess it's still open season on the Catholic church this week. Totally vulgar.

You need to get your ears checked - there's plenty of bass in there.

Or you need a better audio system - it sounds great on my Pioneer VSX-521 - even without a subwoofer.

Nothing wrong with my system I know what I hear. I'm cranked to -06 and when the FF perform the base is light compared to everything else albeit slight but it's still noticeable. There is definitely something different with their mix.

Yep. Makes me really sad. We were contemporaries (born within a few weeks of each other).

Audio mix for the birds tonight Listen to The End with the drum solo. As soon as the guitar wars begin the base drops out. Poor audio mix. What's it set for auto?

Yes, have been for quite a long time.

Besides the macroblocking from the strobe lights the PQ was surprisingly very good on WCBS-DT.
Was not getting the usual motion artifacts.

Wow! What an ending! Paul et al. doing Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight, and The End, complete with the drum solo (at least part of it) and the trading guitar licks among Paul and Joe Walsh and Bruce and Dave Grohl and the others.

Awesome.

Wow. What a way to end a show.

We wouldn't know in Omaha as the local affiliate switched away right at 10:30 central time to local news in the middle of a song.

Oh, and congrats, Adele. Gotta love someone so unpretentious and un-Diva like. She's adorable and such a huge talent. I'm glad to see someone so deserving and gracious have such a big night.
