Yes!

The photo I posted above is old, and I now have a 159-inch screen. But it's not acoustically transparent. It pulls down to exactly the bottom of the 65-inch RPTV in the photo, just above the top of the center speaker. So we can watch either TV or projector, depending on content.

Oh, wow, that puts things in perspective. I thought the speakers and RPTV were bigger. The room looks huge in the first photo.

Maybe y'all are giants?

That is an awesome setup. I could fit an 80' led, but my wife would kill me. lol. I have a polk center on a stand I bought at Circuit City back in 2006 - purchased with my now retired Mits 65' dlp. Angled up slightly.

Those baffles sprinkled around the room look like band-aids. Surely there are more aesthetically pleasings wo compromising function? Yeah everybody is a critic.

LOL, I like the way my acoustic treatment looks, and it makes a huge improvement in sound quality. But I understand that not everyone likes that look. With acoustic treatment you can have:

1) Effective
2) Attractive
3) Affordable

Pick any two.

Acoustic panels are easily hidden behind fancy fabric walls, but that costs a lot more.

I'm with you Ethan, i love my diffusers, i couldnt cover them up... Live end, dead end was the trick, but flat walls are too live.

LOL, that looks great. Though it appears you need more bass traps.
