I actually took the time to check out the demo on the 360 thinking controller support would be better. The download was ~1.6GB on the 360 and ~3.6GB on the PC if I remember correctly. Well, it turns out that I found mouse and keyboard to be better after all. I did kinda like the ability to speak my commands in dialogue through kinect though! I do have a feeling that it would get old after a while. Additionally, the graphics really are quite a bit better on the PC and the characters mouths synced up better when speaking (yeah, weird to say that but it bothered me on the xbox!) I'll be going for the PC version after all, just have to keep my eyes open for good deals on it!

I am a htpc guy, my tv is 73in. I have not touched an xbox in 2yrs and I don't plan on doing it any time soon. Kb/m is not my thing. I will wait for modders to hack it like they did for the last 2 ME's. I played both with a controller with out xpadder or pinnacle.

A console game should be played with a console controller. If this was a point and click rts give me a mouse and keyboard then.

Can not import my ME2 saves to ME3. Played for about 4-5 hours set at insanity level RPG. Restarted twice since 1st time only set on standard hardness.

I played for a bit. Nothing really jumps out at me other than the sound being terrible yuckers!!!!! also the cover system is complete trash with a KB/M. The gun play is pretty good and the levels so far seem pretty cool. A true console port at it's finest.

I am curious as to what I should do. It's the PC or 360 question again.

I played ME1 on the xbox. Liked it, finished it. Started ME2 on the xbox, imported previous saves etc, but the game drove me nuts. The entire mining thing was a waste of time, and I had such a back log of games I never went back.

So now that I have a good PC again, I'm am wondering if I should just play 2 and 3 on the PC instead or does importing my previous character/decisions more important over whatever graphic improvement there might be.

How much better graphically is the PC version of the 360? ME2 and 3? I am a graphics whore

....you are not a graphics whore if you are asking this question. A game like this you know will do much better with AA, AF, and whatever native resolution you like your games at.

Plus at some point someone will enable FXAA and SSAO for the game making it look even better (assuming it doesn't have these out of the box)......

I too play on a large hdtv or projector and KB/M just is not comfortable for me.

It already has that on the 360/PS3.

I have a beast of a machine sitting 2 feet from my 360, hooked up to the same 64" 1080p plasma, and I still picked the 360 version of ME3. It looks damn good, and the gamepad very simply wins. Shader-based anti-aliasing is doing a fantastic job of giving the 360/PS3 some extra life.

Playing on the couch with KBM is just retarded.

Anyone playing with some type of multi 120hz monitor setup?

Example:
(he's using 3 42" LG 42LW5600 @ 1080p, also in the video he says he was able to use the 360 controller on pc)

What do you mean by this? I remember running across a partially functional mod for ME1, but I don't remember ever seeing anything that enabled native game pad support for ME2. I would like to give that a shot.

From what I understand they were able to edit a file in ME2 and enable native controller support (no xpadder). Hopefully there will be a way to do this with ME3.

there is already if you look at the pc tech support section on bioware forums or widescreengamingforum.com or even nvidia's 3d forums.

but it's flawed, no controller ui and you can't back out of certain things and still required to use the keyboard for some things.

this wouldn't take long, but someone is bringing the kinect voice commands to pc version using a mic, which all the kinect does anyways on 360 >_>... even knowing we did this last gen with ghost recon and rainbow six on xbox 1 with a mic... microsoft thinks they are cool making you have a kinect instead of using a mic.

Oh how I hate the cover system. Getting me killed because I wanted to move and having back up instead of climbing over the cover then move gets you killed fast. If I wasn't so caught up in the ME story I would have had a hard time keep playing this as I did with Gears of War series for the PC. The probm binding the cover, run and action key is a major PITA. I am getting my @ss kicked in the RPG Insanity level...but still loving the game...except for the cover system.
