BIC power cords

Thread Starter
So I have 2 BIC V1220s and a BIC F12. All three use the same power cord and all three the power cords are lose in the receptacle and like to fall out/come unplugged at the sub. Anyone else have this issue or am I just lucky? Any recommendations on a fix that won't alter sellability as I might or might not sell one or more of them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

spread the prongs slightly.

I also have a V1220 that I use for my music area and yes the power cord on the back is a little loose. It is the same way on both of my BIC PL-200s. But the good thing is I have never had an issue with them falling out of the socket of the sub...no matter how hard I drive them.

kcnitro07's fall out if you just look at the subs out of the corner of your eye.

John Q it's on this end of the cord...can't spread the prongs

Spread the prongs that go into that end of the cord.

Besides lightly spreading the prongs wrap the end of the cord head with electrical tape and that will tighten up the fit also usually 2 to 3 rounds will do it.
Or find an electronics supply and get another IEC cord be sure to match they come in two flavors grounded and not grounded in various lengths.
