Hi guys, I have few problems/questions which I hope someone here can help me with.

1) The light around the power button for my case doesn't work.
2) When I shutdown windows 8, the fan at the back are still running.
3) To start the HTPC I first have to hold power button for few seconds for the PC to shutdown properly, and then press it again to start windows 8.

Below is my configuration:

Origenae S10V using VF310

Keyboard: Logitech K400 Wireless Slim Keyboard w/Touchpad
Speakers: Cyber Acoustics CA-3090 10W 2.1ch Speakers

I have installed iMON software which helped me configure my front screen.

Most likely you didn't connect all cables properly. Did you check manual p. 13?
Did you connect molex connector to PSU?
Did you connect 24 pin cable with piggy tail to Y cable?

So it is NOT OFF. I am not sure what state did you put it in. Check your setup.

Of course not. ITRans is for VFD210 not 310.
Did you read info in our tech support?

Do you want to put three mechanical 3.5" drives or do you consider one 2,5" drive?

I will be showing some OrigenAE chassis on CEDIA. Please visit Assassin HTPC stand.

Zygmunt,

I see that the S8 Chassis is either Sold Out (Black) or just about to be Sold Out (Silver).

Is OrigenAE discontinuing that chassis?

No. There is almost no interest in this chassis in the USA so I don't import it anymore. I am working with OrigenAE on some modification of S8. If concept is clear - I will publish info here.

I really love the OrigenAE line of products. I am very tempted to use an s16 case for my HTPC build. I have been in contact with the company to ask various details regarding the case, and I have gotten a prompt and curteous reply to each question regarding measurements and dimensions. I have been scouring the internet to find some answers regarding the size of the display. Due to some Mac specific software that my wife and I use in the medical field, I am interested in using a partition on my SSD (when I actually make the computer) to have the option to boot either OSx or Windows. I want the screen on the s16 to be able to work with Mac software, which the supplied screens don't do. I was thinking about getting an aftermarket screen that would be Mac and Windows compatible, and then retrofitting it into the case. Can anyone provide any advice on this? Has anyone done this? Any suggestions? I have seen Lilliput, Xenarc, Soundgraph FingerVU 700M and other companies offering various iterations of what I think I need. I have also found some very cheap options at buydisplay.com. Something about this seems less reputable. None of these companies offer an exact screen measurement equivalent to the display opening on the Orgien of 91.4mm x 152.9mm. Any and all advice or guidance would be appreciated. I am also a new computer/HTPC builder, so general advice is also welcome. Typically I stick to the audiophile Emotiva stuff. Maybe Emotiva will send me an old enclosure that I can retrofit :)Thanks.

Hi bwest1000.

I am little bit confused. Are you talking about S16V or S16T?
S16T has 7" VGA 800x480 monitor, so it must be compatible with any operating system. It is just VGA monitor.
S16V has fluorescent display like this one:

This one may not be compatible with MAC. More info on Soundgraph website.
If you go with S16T - you are all set. You have what you need.
You can also go with Wesena e7T. Wesena e7T has FingerVU 700 built in.
Difference between these two is that FingerVU 700 is USB monitor, not VGA, so you have to install driver and there is no picture until OS is on.
I tested it with WIN7, but not with MAC. Check Soundgraph it they have FingerVU 700 drivers for MAC.
