I'm not sure what the layout should be for my home theater speakers.
I need some ideas about the layout. I have a 5.1 receiver. In wall speakers or satellites?
Speaker suggestions?

Please help i'm kind of at a standstill

Personally I'd go for on-wall speakers with a main on either side of the TV and a center channel below. For surrounds I'd put one each in the upper corners behind you.

Problems are running the wires and timing. Does your receiver have a setup routine that can compensate for speakers and different distances from the listening area? Can you access the walls from behind to help bury speaker wire? Are you willing to cut in to them?

What's your total budget for 5 speakers and a subwoofer?

My receiver should compensate. It's Yamaha rx-v471 with YPAO.
My TV is the Samsung 64" 7000
My Sub has to be in my closet behind TV. It doesn't sound to bad with it in there. Wife will not let that sit out on floor.
Now for speakers..... On wall best, I kind of figured that would sound best.
I'm not a huge audiophile, but do like things to sounds great. As for price I would like to stay 400-500 total. My friend suggested the energy classic. I am concerned though about the looks. Please suggest.
You said my rears up in the back corners. Would that be the red or the blue?
