Cannot inject DVD
Panasonic DMP BDT320, out of warranty.
I cannot get the player to inject DVD. The blue light comes on, player will not
pull-in the DVD. Has not worked from "day one!" Would appreciate any suggestions.
Hoping someone might have an answer to this.
My 320 is 14 months old it has suddenly locked up in a permanent loop. On the display it cycles through Hello/Home/Stop/Bye etc etc ad nauseam. It cant be powered down except by pulling the power cord out. After you plug the power back in a few seconds will elaspse before it powers itself on and returns to looping through as before. I have tried the reset route but cant break into the above display cycle. I cant find a hard reset button anywhere on the machine.
Any (polite ) suggestions
Thanks for the suggestion, did all that. No go.
1. Disconnected HDMI
2. Held power switch down and plugged in, powered up straight away and went into loop again.
3. Tried powering up with eject button held, no difference.
4. Tried powering down and pulling out power cord leaving a minute then plugging back in - powers up etc etc etc
Ten minutes in a bucket of cold water might cool its jets !!
All suggestions gratefully received - needless to say I logged a support contact on the Panasonic support page four days ago which they still havent acknowledged...Ho Hum..
I just realized I have a solution...since I can open the bluray files on my PC, I can just connect to my HDMI out and then to my AVR IN :-) No need to burn a disk...dah.
Thanks for helping me think about other options....
I thought the same thing but this is the only dvd to do that. I will check it though. That was my thought then I forgot about it. ha.
