Budget is about 1200 for fronts and rears...

I've looked at Polks and Klipsch...


Going to go with a outlaw or rhymik sub...

I just picked up a 5.0 Boston acoustics VS series (4 x vs 260 and a vs 325 center) from Vann's (their on a great discount right now)

It runs slightly over your budget ($1280) and you'll need a sub and a good receiver for it, but is a very good deal going on.

I will check out those....

id prefer to have floor standing for the fronts... I see the 260's are bookshelf....

Probably because there are literally hundreds of similar threads like this one.
Take a listen to as many brands as you can PSB Speakers PAradigm Totem B&W. (I am not a fan of Polk or klipsch) There are literally hundreds of different speakers that would be great with your budjet.
