Greg

I have seen your monitors before, very nice

I have been looking at drivers some more and I found some pretty affordable 8" and 10" drivers that would make a nice WTW design....and if I can get the fountek neopro5i for 72 when I do buy the drivers I will be able to build each monitor for about $200 each....if I go with the TPL in the WTW setup like I am about to show you it will be more around $600.

Here is the 10" that looked nice and is only $55:

Please tell me if those arent as good as they look like....the measurements make them look pretty good.

Heck, I could step it up and go with these too

Can anyone tell me where I can get those simulation programs for this? I lost them and cant find them.

I have some experience with some of the Alphas, and I wouldn't buy them again. Dogs.
The Delta is probably better.

Sim programs - Unibox is here, but I won't use WinISD, so someone else will need to provide a link.

ah crap, i dont have excel anymore! Since building the computer I am on now I am using LibreOffice.....so it was free....

I may have to do modeling on my father-in-laws computer, unless this works on microsoft office on OSX.

Thats a bummer that you didnt have good experience with the Alpha Eminence drivers....they looked pretty promising for the price.

Wait, are you looking to use the Eminence Alphas with the TPL-150H? That is like setting a 5 carat diamond in a plastic ring.

For the TPL-150H I would only go with a top shelf 10 or 12" pro driver. Maybe dual 8's in a MTM.

I know everybody likes to concentrate on the HF but midrange and midbass is every bit as important.

stan, I completely agree with you there....which is why if I went with the Eminence I would go with the NeoPro 5i

for the TPL I think this driver would be optimal for a 10" and I can use just one for now and get another later down the road for MTM
