How do I reset parental control pin?

I thought there would be threads regarding this, but I tried searching "reset" and "reset pin," but nothing came up.

The only way I know is to wipe out the drive using rtvpatch.

If you're using WiRNS, you can put this in the 'shellcmds' file:

regedit delete Software/Apps/ParentalControl

After a network connect from that Replay, all the parental controls will be reset.

Thanks Mark. It worked. For some reason, it also deleted the guide. I forced another net connect and the guide came back.

Now I can record shows for myself without worrying the kids watching them

I use that and it's never deleted the guide. That's proof I don't know everything :-)
