Pioneer vsx-919ah Help how do i change the default input (tv/sat)??

hi everybody i have been trying like crazy to change the default setting of tv/sat on my pioneer vsx 919. i have tried going into the input setup and selecting on and off on the input skip category, to no avail.

every time i turn on my tv which is connected to the receiver by hdmi, it automatically switches back to tv/sat and i have to manually press the dvr button for it to show my cable box.

with out the tv on, the receiver stays on the last input it was left on, but the second i turn on the tv it goes back to the default tv/sat and its annoying to constantly switch back and forth between inputs.

i have checked the manual a hundred times and there is nothing that says "permanently change your default input source"

my question is how do i change it, so that every time no matter what the receiver stays on DVR?

dont mean to bring up an old thread but no i have never fixed this problem. turn off hdmi control?? how do i do that ive looked online and still dont know where that option is located and what you mean by that.
