Setting dual subs

I recently replaced my F12 with a Outlaw LFM-1 EX and it sounds good, but I believe with the size of my room, the sub is not filling the room with what I am looking for, you know what I mean. So just for fun I plugged in my F12 and now I have the WOW factor! I plan on keeping hooked up, so a few questions to those who know, will the F12 play nice with the LFM-1EX? Also do I rerun Audyssey? Will Audyssey detect the sub and set it? I am running all this with a Denon 2312ci. It does have dual sub preouts. Thanks in advance, Reef.

I thought the 2312 was still a .1 avr? Basically the lfe line out is just y splitted. If you got a spl meter just set them both to about 72dB and run audy.

If not, check out the amp section (audyssesy set up thread). Gives great instructions on how to set up your subs

it is a 7.2. I have read through through the Audyssey thread, but I still wanted to know if Audyssey will detect the sub and show two sub +/- I will look through it again. Also just want to know if it is a good idea to have these two subs paired?

You never know till you try lol. I paired a pdr10 with my lfm and loved it

The version of Aud in 2312 will NOT calibrate two sub's individually. The 4311 will. I have not input on using your two sub's at the same time.

The 2312 is NOT an X.2 AVR. It may have two sub outputs but that's the result of an internal "Y" connector.

Check with audy to see if it calibrates 2 subs (I thought only 32 does that). Like utah said, its probably just y splitted internally

At this point measure each from the LP. Measurement equipment would help with this process.

Re-run Audyssey and see if you like the sound. If not, it's time to get an external PEQ.

It's not really 7.2 because what you have is dual mono subs. Sometimes trying to set up two subs might result in worst bass. BTW, when you say F12 are talking about Rythmik or BIC?

It's the BIC formula F12. I'm at the point if I can find someone local, I will just bring someone in and let them come in give a professional tweaking.
