How to aim in-ceiling speakers

I have Sonance 623R in-ceiling speakers. I use these as surrounds in a 5.1 system with Ascend RAAL Towers and a Sierra-1 NrT Center. (...I know in-ceiling speakers are not ideal, but it's what I have to work with.)

I can aim the woofer and tweeter individually. I'm wondering if it's recommended to aim the speakers directly at the listening position, or aim it at the back wall "to get a more diffuse sound", as the manual describes it.

A lot of my listening it 2 channel music. The in-ceilings are only used for blu-rays.

Throw in some movies and experiment for what works/sounds best in your room. Take your time and enjoy with your final decision.

I have my tweeters pointed towards the main listen position. Neither my Vife or I have any complaints.

I have the in-ceilings two feet away from the walls, and do not think pointing the tweeters away from the MLP would be beneficial.

Dolby Labs recommends aiming the speakers at the listening position - the surround channels are mastered for positional audio sound effects and cues, so you want directional sound, not diffuse.
