Well have I gotten an education on this Front Height Speaker implemention, appears that in order to get audio to them Dolby Pro Logic IIz has to be engaged or selected on your Amp (Pioneer Elite VSX-53), refer to Dolby site.
Dolby suggested specific scenes in "Ratatouille", "The Two Towers," and "Blade Runner" to use. All of the demo scenes involved rainy weather with Dolby Pro Logic IIz engaged, suppose to sound like Rain is coming from the roof. Will be testing this theory out sometime soon and see if it was worth the hassel of two more speakers in the Front or not. At least I now understand more about this Front Height Speaker setup and which Blu-Ray movies to test with and what I'm should be hearing from the Front. Hope this helps out others who are exploring use of Front Height Speaker setups with the Pioneer Elite VSX-53.
