So wait, are they rereleasing the DC one, remastering it, or making a sequel?

They haven't said anything but it's obviously going to be an upconverted release of Jet Grind Radio (the first one, called Jet Set Radio in Japan) just like the recent Sonic Adventures, Space Channel 5, etc. releases.

Hmm...first one had great style, but I dunno how well the gameplay will have aged.

I loved JSRF for the Xbox. I'd like another game in the series.

Most likely it's the same first game with sharper graphics. There's some rumblings that some music from the American release won't make it back in but the funky Japanese (if there is such a thing) hits should make it back in!

Sure I do, but it doesn't mean I have to enjoy, or even be motivated to revisit a bunch of skateboarding graffiti artists, in yet another weird ass Japanese game with a horrible look and worse music. It's one of those games, where it's beloved by the hipster-ish gaming crowd, and pretty much ignored by everyone else, which is why it ended up on a double disc with some racing game, which is how I got it back in the super early days of the XBOX.

#1 That wasn't this game, that was the sequel that was kind of different.

#2 I was just joking, but I think you proved my post! :P

Oh, my bad. Anyway, since when is not liking a game a barometer on anything? No biggie though.

this past memorial day, i stopped by my parents and found 2 cases full of my old Xbox 1 games and one of my old Xbox systems. i cant tell if the Xbox works only because i couldnt find the power cable. on the games front i counted 50 games. eek.gif

approx 10 cases were missing the game disk mad.gif

however i did find the sega gt/jsrf double disk! was pleasantly surprised it was backwards compatible as well! i must have played it for a good 2 hours. the soundtrack was the star. made me whip out my dreamcast and play the original as well biggrin.gif
