Klipsch RW 12d front cover vibration

Hello
I purchased a brand new Klipsch RW 12d subwoofer on sale for only $299.99 The sub is great and shakes things up when playing music and movies. However, there is a slight vibration noise coming from the hard plastic cover directly under the speaker and grill. This is the plastic molding that holds the Klipsch emblem. It only vibrates/crackles at certain frequencies.

I have noticed if I push in or up on the plastic the vibration goes away. I'm guessing that this plastic cover is for cosmetic purposes.

Has anyone ever removed this cover before? I was thinking about re-seating it so see if that helped. I could return it, but it seems like a very small issue that could happen again on a replacement.

any comments will be much appreciated.
Thanks

I believe I saw in the Klipsch forums where someone had shoved a piece of folded paper behind it to stop it.

It is the subwoofer port (not cosmetic) that vibrates. You can stick your hand inside this port. Lots of folks having this same proplem. Some had successfully glue it back and tight.
