Anyone here Google+?

Just curious. I'm pretty active on it, then again I almost never actually post on HA/HT stuff. After going through hell & back setting up my system, I'm pretty content to sit back and enjoy it. Even if it doesn't do 50% of what others seem to be doing nowadays :-)

thx, I suppose its by choice. I did some internal reconfiguration/remodeling, putting in new LED lights in a "new" room, now back to cocoontech & here to see if anyone has used automated dimmers with them. Seems deceptively simple, they're 2 wire, which is right about when I find out something and get hosed :-)

You should buy lights that you know you can control.

Look to Lutron for LED control solutions. I'm sure they have an automated dimmer that works with LEDs, though perhaps not the ones you have installed.

Might be worth it to add RA2 to the mix, for future LED zones. Your plaster and lathe will put up a fight, but it will lose.

The wife bought the lights. Spent 4 hours at HD without my knowledge.

Translation: These are the lights we'll be using. My opinion is irrelevant. Now to find automated switches that work within that constraint :-)

I'm currently in a similar situation with kitchen pendant lights. I understand.
