Sony SXRD XBR-1 60" Replacement

Mine is still working great, but I'm starting to get the itch. It has to be at least a 60"...plasma or LCD. What is available now that compares or surpasses my SXRD?

I know what you mean. I still love my SXRD but would still like something different. What is it that makes us want to continually change and upgrade? I have a 10 year old SUV that suits me fine but there is something about electronics!

I love my SXRD as well and the picture on it is better than some of the "high end" current TVs out there even with only 1080i and 8 year old technology. However, my fan is starting to go out and I have no intention of putting any money into it. I am currently looking at getting the Panasonic VIERA TC-P65GT50.
