Im looking at the Panasonic TM900, the Sony CX580V, or waiting on the new Canon M52. I want to stay around 800. I know its a matter of compromises but I just want to make sure Im able to do what I want, which is vacation and low light nightclub video. I want ease of data transfer display along with the best picture possible. Do one of these 3 stand out or is there something else I may have missed.

i have a panasonic tm900 and sony cx700...don't know much about canon...

just came back from family vacation in hawaii... i took my sony cx700 with me... the panasonic tm900 stays home.... went to paradise cove luau show (check out youtube video on paradise cove flame dance to see the low light).. sony was able to capture it without any problem... most of the time... i take video while family is walking on the beach... and camcorder stay on( record non stop) while we were touring the pearl harbour memorial... sony has great stabilizer...

with the sony camcorder... i turned off the record lamp and close lcd... but kept recording family steping out of the airplane... advantage of having a viewfinder in camcorder..

canon going to announce new camera next month... i hope they annonce an upgrade to hf g10....
