soundcard or Dac for Sawn's M200MkIII?

i am currently using my pc as source with on-board sound-card for my Swan's M200MkIII.

if i wanna increase the sound quality, should i get a sound-card or dac?
any suggestion which is best value for money?

FYI DAC pretty much = sound cards. They both do a fundamentally like thing. What are your goals? What is your budget?

I'm a big fan of Pro-Audio devices due to flexibility, fidelity, and reasonable prices vs the boutique varietals.

my budget is $500, but i wanna get the best out of the speakers and dont overkill it ~ i guess i will be using these speakers and wont change for a long time.
